Kara is a design professional and preservationist at John Milner Architects in Chadds Ford, PA. Her experience includes involvement in a variety of projects ranging from new traditional residential design, comprehensive historic site survey and assessment, to institutional renovations. She returned to her hometown of Philadelphia after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Pratt Institute followed by a Master’s of Historic Preservation from the University of Florida and has recently settled in Wilmington, Delaware. As an Adjunct Professor at Jefferson University, she enjoys engaging with students and emerging designers. In her spare time Kara also enjoys skiing, traveling, learning new skills, and hanging out with her husband and dog.
