Workshop Recap - Understanding the Role of Materials Testing in the Preservation Design Process

APT-DVC and APTI Technical Committee on Materials co-hosted this 2-day workshop. Students, emerging professionals, and some of the field’s most experienced practitioners came together for an engaging conversation about the role of testing in the preservation design process. Local members were joined by attendees from as far away as Kansas and Puerto Rico, and everyone’s contributions added to the experience. APT-DVC also extends special thanks to two important landmark houses of worship: our conference hosts: Arch Street Meeting House, and our study site: Historic St. George’s. Experiences like this workshop are what APT-DVC exists to facilitate, and we are grateful to all involved for their efforts.
